Privacy policy

UK MEDIA Online is maintained by the UK MEDIA team in Wales, Scotland and England. We can be reached at the addresses given in Contact MEDIA.

The following is an outline of our policy on the personal information provided by you and impersonal information compiled by your visit to the site.

UK MEDIA Online respects your privacy
UK MEDIA Online does not collect personally identifying information about individuals visiting the site except when specifically and knowingly provided by individuals subscribing to UK MEDIA Online. Subscribers are requested to complete a questionnaire with their contact details and areas of interest. This is to help us to send you only the information you require about the MEDIA Programme, news and events. We will not disclose, distribute or sell your personal information to other companies.

We are obliged by the European Commission to publish information about beneficiaries of MEDIA support. As the MEDIA is a European Union Programme and publicly funded, information about how the funds are allocated is also public. Information in this case means the name of the beneficiary, the kind of support awarded, how much and when. Lists of UK beneficiaries of the MEDIA programme are collated for statistical purposes and can be found in the Beneficiaries section of the UK MEDIA Online.

If any changes to this policy are foreseen we shall notify you in advance.
