The latest results have been published for MEDIA's Selective Scheme (deadline 1 December 2008). 34 titles were selected in this round, with €3.9 million being awarded for their theatrical release costs. British distributors received €312,000 to release eight European titles in the UK, including Il Divo, Revanche, The First Day of the Rest of Your Life, and Pranzo di Ferragosto.  Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire received €636,500 worth of funding towards its release in 16 European territories.
