DetailsThe Sofia Meetings will take place from 11-14 March within the framework of the Sofia International Film Festival.
The Sofia Meetings focus on the professional cinema audience, directors, producers, distributors, representatives of funding bodies and film festivals and consists of two seperate modules: Second Films Pitching; a presentation of second feature film projects, including an additional programme Plus Minus One for
the first or third feature project, originating from various European
Countries and looking for financial support and cooperation. Selected projects will be presented to an audience of established
experts from international and national financing organisations,
production and distribution companies. The pitching section concludes
with scheduled individual meetings between participants and industry
experts. Balkan Screenings showcases the latest Bulgarian and regional films for directors and programmers from different international festivals, world sales companies and journalists.
